ORALIDAD, ANTICANON Y CONCIENCIA DE IDENTIDAD EN LA POESÍA DE CANDELARIO OBESO.

Abstract

Este trabajo subraya la importancia dela poesía de Candelario Obeso desde finales del siglo XIX, como condensación estética que conlleva también una mirada ética, a partir de la etnia negra. Significa, con ello, cuestionar el canon nacional establecido para la época y la concepción cultural a partir de lo oral como expresión de lo regional. Además, a la luz de los nuevos movimientos identitarios, contiene una postura contemporánea, crítica y humanizada acerca del ser y de la lengua “nacional” como elementos excluyentes que buscan una supuesta nacionalidad pura, dejando atrás el pluralismo y la diversidad.

ABSTRACT

This paper highlights the importance of Candelario Obeso´s poetry from the late XIX century, which reflects an ethic view from the black identity perspective. Consequently, this work invites to question the rules established in that period and the cultural perception about oral expression as a way of regional identity. The new identity movements reveal its contemporary, critical, and humanized elements of this work point of view of the human being and the national dialect as marginalizing elements seeking a pure nationality, leaving behind pluralism and ethnic diversity.
