SILENCIO Y EXISTENCIALISMO EN RESPIRANDO EL VERANO

Resumen

El ensayo propone un estudio de Respirando el verano como obra que refleja una óptica existencial donde la incomunicación, el silencio, la caída y el encierro, revelan a unos personajes que se mueven en un infierno terrenal lleno de secretos. Celia, su personaje principal, representa el centro de la palabra, de los dilemas y las preguntas existenciales acerca de su lugar e importancia en el mundo así como la del patio como prolongación de su vida, en concordancia con la posición heideggeriana de la casa como morada del ser y del lenguaje.

ABSTRACT

This essay proposes a study of Respirando el verano as a work that reflects an existentialistic perspective where the lack of comunication, the silence, the fall and the enclosure reveal some characters that move in a terrestrial hell filled with secrets. Celia, the main character, stands for the center of the word, for the concerns and the existential questions about her place and importance in the world, as well as the thinking of the patio as an elongation of her life taking into account Heidegger’s point of view of the house as home of the being and the language.
