It is qualitative in nature, is proposed to generate knowledge in strategic planning of human resources for the transformation of higher education. Methodologically it is configured from the intuition, observation, analysis, interpretation and reflection of reality. The information was obtained through interviews semi structured. The key informants were the Manager of recruitment, selection and obtaining human resources, teachers and employees of the administrative area of the University. The technique used to sustain the validity of the information was the triangulation and finds most representative construed in accordance with the theory of the strategic HHRR planning.
