Stereotypes and the absence of a gender perspective as factors that increase inequality gaps in Latin America under the approach of SDGs 5 and 10

Gender stereotypes are one of the aspects that prevent progress towards a fair society, unfortunately it is a rigorous nut that limits the ability of men and women to develop their personal faculties, therefore the study is carried out with the general objective of Analyze the stereotypes and the absence of a gender perspective in state policies to observe the inequality gaps in Latin America, under the approach of SDGs No. 5 and 10, and three specific objectives in the introduction. Regarding the materials, the qualitative approach was applied since it is flexible, under the inductive method and in general it does not allow a statistical analysis, the type of research is documentary, using 20 states of art as a sample; The results show that gender inequality is a sphere that has surrounded different Latin American countries for decades, the issue involves other gaps such as gender discrimination and intrinsic competitiveness between men and women. To conclude, one of the existing problems is income inequality, today this requires global solutions, therefore, it is necessary to adopt solid policies that empower low-income people and promote economic inclusion without distinction or discrimination, equally In this way, this study is the call to share more knowledge regarding the subject under study in front of the institutions to improve as a society.
