Análisis sociocrítico del poema “La herencia del placer” de Raúl Gómez Jattin

Abstract

El presente texto analiza el poema "La herencia del placer" del poeta caribeño Raúl Gómez Jattin para relacionar sus estructuras lingüísticas y las estructuras sociales de la costa caribeña colombiana. Para ello, se toman algunos conceptos de la sociocrítica, desarrollados por Edmond Cros, con el fin de identificar prácticas lingüísticas preconstruidas, su relación con grupos sociales e ideologías específicas, así como la visión del poeta. Se concluye que el autor invierte y parodia el discurso de la matrona para poner de manifiesto lo obsoleto de las costumbres conservadoras;pues, funcionan para disimular los deseos de incrementar el capital a través del posicionamiento de modelos de prestigio y de la imposición de la endogamia.

 Abstract

This paper analyzes the poem "La herencia del placer", by the Caribbean poet Raúl Gómez Jattin. There were borrowed some concepts developed by Edmond Cros and the sociocriticism school in order to connect the linguistic structures of the poem and the social structures of Caribbean Colombian coast. Identifying linguistic elements, connecting them to specific contradictories ideologiesis the way to show the author’s point of view. It is concluded that the author invests and parodies the speech of the Caribbean midwife, which aims to highlight the obsolescence of conservative practices. Midwife discourse works as a way to increment the desires to raise capital through the positioning of prestigious models and seek to impose endogamy.
