Abstract

When talking about Educational Inclusion (IE), this is attributed only to the teacher in special education and to the work with DcP; In some contexts, EI inclusive actions are aimed at training teachers to assume the inclusive school, however, the role played by the primary inhabitants, the students, is forgotten and isolated from these transformative actions. In this sense, for this research to recognize the role of the student in the EI processes of the municipality of Sopo-Cundinamarca, from the appropriation and understanding of otherness and otherness and the relationship with cooperative learning.

The research is in the sociocritical paradigm, with an Action Research approach, proposed by Jhon Elliot, (2000). The information collected had the informed consent of the participants, who were 420 students from the IEDs la Violeta, Rafael Pombo and CEIS.

It is concluded that students recognize differences as qualities of being, configuring the collective construction of a more inclusive society. In this way, the traditional roles that attend the EI processes are decentralized, envisioning a space for collective participation as agents of change and transformation.
