Abstract

The research problem consisted of how to use Information and Communication Technologies in the learning of a second language in preschool. The main objective in the research was to develop cognitive skills using digital tools that lead to; locate content, open interactive screens, type (write), interact with the screen know programs (Windows, Power Point) that contribute to child development, allowing the child to learn meaningfully.  The methodology used consisted of a theory design based on documentary with reflections on teaching praxis. The theoretical references were based on theories of the acquisition of a second language and learning focused on playful activities. The main results show the relevance of the use of digital environments in English classes in preschool and that the child can interact with applications to learn English. Among the main conclusions, it can be highlighted that the importance of ICTs and their use in preschool should be encouraged. The discussion proposes that tics at this level, in addition to allowing to expand the range of resources and didactic strategies in communication modalities, access to multiple educational resources and learning environments strengthens the knowledge of the infant.
