Abstract

RESUMEN

El artículo “Tradiciones y Culturas: Cómplices de las violencias contra las mujeres” hace un recorridode las diferentes tipologías de violencias que se ejercen en contra de las mujeres, en disímilesculturas y épocas, señalando cómo las tradiciones y costumbres se convierten en aliadas de estasmanifestaciones violentas, que se han perpetuado en el tiempo y en el espacio.Así mismo, se concluye con los avances que se han dado en Colombia, no sin antes relacionar estehistórico recorrido con las luchas del movimiento social de mujeres.

ABSTRACT

The article “Traditions and Culture: Accomplices of violences against women” make a tour of thedifferent typologies of violences that are exerted in opposition to the women in different period andcultures showing how the traditions and custom turn in allied of these violent manifestations, whichhave been perpetuated in time and space.Likewise, the article concludes to the advances that have been given in Colombia, not without before;relate this history path with the fi ghts of women’s social movement.
