LA IDENTIDAD INDIVIDUAL O COLECTIVA EN EL MARCO DE LA DEMOCRACIA LIBERAL: ALGUNAS CONSIDERACIONES TEÓRICAS EN HABERMAS, TAYLOR Y KYMLICKA

Resumen

El artículo presenta una exposición panorámica de las posturas sobre qué es, cómo se forma y que consecuencias trae la identidad en el marco de las democracias occidentales. Se considera pertinente las posturas de Charles Taylor, Axel Honneth, Will Kymlicka, Jürgen Habermas, por ser quienes mejor enfocan el debate a nivel teórico-conceptual. Básicamente se analizan dos problemáticas: cómo se construye nuestra identidad y de qué manera puede repercutir en los sistemas jurídicos el reconocimiento de la identidad ya sea individual o colectiva.

ABSTRACT

The article presents an overview of the exposure positions on what it is, the formation and identity that brings consequences in the context of Western democracies. It is appropriates the views of Charles Taylor, Axel Honneth, Will Kymlicka, Jürgen Habermas, for who better focus the discussion to theoretical-conceptual level. Basically we analyze two problems: how to build our identity and how it may impact on the legal systems of identity recognition either individually or collectively.
